Open an eye clinic with our precision air conditioning
With a blessing service performed by the Bishop of Vratsa, Grigoriy, and a solemn ceremony on June 28, 2025, the new building of the Eye Clinic and MC "PENTAGRAM" was officially opened.
The ribbon was cut by the manager and founder of the eye hospital, Dr. Veselin Daskalov, and his wife, Dr. Konstanza Tosheva, who heads one of the largest departments at the MC "PENTAGRAM" - "PENTAGRAM Women's Health".
The hospital is fully air-conditioned by the company "Toplik", which is the designer and contractor of the HVAC system. It also includes the extremely precise air conditioning of the operating rooms, for which the requirements are specific and extremely high.
The new building of the Eye Clinic and MC "PENTAGRAM" is located in Sofia, has 6 floors and has a total built-up area of 3000 sq m. It offers comprehensive eye health care - from precise diagnostics with the latest generation of equipment to effective conservative, surgical and laser treatment of various eye diseases. It has a modern operating block with four operating rooms, an anesthesia room, a room for preoperative preparation and postoperative stay. The specialized diagnostic and functional rooms are equipped with the latest generation of equipment, allowing precise diagnosis and treatment of accommodation disorders, cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment, intraocular hemorrhages and foreign bodies in the eye. The medical center at the clinic has rooms for Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Endocrinology and Cardiology. The hospital has its own well-equipped laboratory. There will also be underground parking for patients. "The construction of this new, modern building is a dream come true for me," admitted Dr. Daskalov during the ceremony. He shared that the idea for it arose about 10 years ago, when he saw that the old one was already too small for his ambitious team.
Dr. Daskalov thanked in particular the company "Toplik" and its manager Mr. Krasimir Georgiev for building the "lung" of this clinic - the air conditioning system, as well as the operating rooms. After the official part, Dr. Daskalov invited those present to personally see for themselves the high quality of the operating rooms, which he indicated were unique.
Guests at the stylish opening enjoyed the performances of opera prima Gergana Nikolaeva and the ClassicArt string quartet. Dermatologist Dr. Dimitar Ninov, who participated in the founding of the medical center 13 years ago, performed "On Many Summers" for the guests.
